So, am I aging myself or does anyone else remember when Rachel Hunter married Rod Stewart 15 years ago? The then 21-year old Kiwi bombshell shocked the world for the age difference between her and Rod Stewart, who was old even back then. even for celebrity wedding standards. LOL!

So, Rachel Hunter is getting married to L.A. Kings hockey sensation Jarret Stoll. Any chance they will be playing Rod Stewart songs at weddings? Which ones would you play?

Vegas Baby, Vegas!

This is totally money. I just heard on the wire that Vince Vaughn is engaged to Kyla Weber, a Canadian realtor. The 38-year old start of such movies as Swingers, Wedding Crashers, and the Breakup has never been married before.

Let’s hope that this love store does not become another case of life imitating art.

Way to go, Vince!

By the way: If you were dj’ing Vince Vaughn’s wedding, what music would you play?

At Last, Maybe It's Time to Move On.

At Last, Maybe It's Time to Move On.

Does anyone really need to hear Etta Jame’s At Last? What about the The Chicken Dance or The Macaranea. I say it’s time to bury these songs and start a new wedding song movement. What do you think?

Leaving on a Jet Plane? (No, actually getting married!)

Friday, May 8th, 2009

Sign of the times, my friends. More and more couples are combining their weddings with their honeymoons, in order to skimp on costs. Now, EasyJet, a UK airline, wants couples actually to marry “in-flight”.

So, this kind of begs the question: if this concept takes-off (no pun intended), are we going to see the mile-high club get a lot bigger? LOL!

What songs would you play if you got married while in flight? (Hint: Anyt love songs from Jefferson Airplane would be a good start)

Meg White to Say “I Do” to Jackson Smith

Jackson and Meg

Jackson and Meg

Holy Cow! I just heard on the wire that the White Stripe’s Meg White is going to get married to Jackson Smith, son of punk legend Patti Smith and Fred Smith from seminal Detroit punk band MC5. Congratulations! I am sure they will make a very cute punk rock couple. I wonder if the White Stripes will perform at the wedding. Geez Bgeez, I would not want to be DJ at that wedding. Talk about pressure! LOL :) Any ideas about what songs they will play for the reception? Please email us with your guesses.
